Situated amidst a plethora of lush greenery and vivid flowers, the Aguada Hermitage Resort, Goa offers a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea and the entire shoreline spread across endless miles of the Golden Calangute Beach. The Aguada Hermitage is made out of a small hill situated on the Portuguese Fort Aguada at Sinquerim Beach. The resort was exclusively planned as a getaway for the Commonwealth leaders of Government in 1983. It consists of 15 sumptuously appointed garden villas. Each villa is an entirely private retreat. Location
The resort is located at 45kms from the Dabolim Airport and 25 kms from the railway station. The City Centre is at a distance of only 17 kms from the resort.

Character and Style
The resort has 15 well-appointed villas spread over 88 acres of lush landscape. The whole complex consists of 12 one-bedroom villas, 2 two-bedroom villas and a three-bedroom villa each with a private verandah to give you the perfect view of the peaceful vicinity. Rooms are twin or double bedded, air-conditioned with fridge, telephone with direct dialing facility, shower, hot and cold water, color television with satellite programs and Channel Music.
Activities
The activities offered by the resort are fishing, river cruise, ATV rides and variety of games which include 5-hole golf course, tennis, squash, badminton, water sports, speedboats, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, parasailing, jet skis, surfing and bump skis. The resort has a Health Club equipped with fitness equipment, indoor & outdoor gym, jacuzzi, steam and sauna and also a swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas. Other facilities include beauty parlor, shopping arcade, hair dressing saloon, disco, children's activity center & herbal massages. folk dances and live music are also frequently held at the resort.

The resort has some really remarkable restaurants that dish out amazing delicacies. Seashell serves Indian, Continental and Goan cuisine. IL Camino is a delight for Italian food lovers. Morisco serves fresh seafood. You can get sizzling barbeques at the beach house. Relaxing in the shade of huge Banyan tree and surrounded by a glistening fishpond you can relish authentic Thai and Chinese cuisine at the Banyan Tree restaurant. Caravela, the beachfront restaurant, serves exotic cocktails and seafood.
